How white will my teeth get?
After undergoing whitening, teeth shades will brighten up to 14 shades during your 60 minute session. You will see an average improvement of five to eight shades after your first 20 minutes! Individual results will depend on your current tooth shade, treatment time, and the composition of your teeth. Your end result will be a whiter, healthier smile. Everyone’s teeth are different and will have a natural stop point.
How long will the whitening last?

This varies from person to person and depends on your diet and lifestyle. However, with proper maintenance and periodic touch-up treatments, you can keep your smile looking great for a lifetime.

Is teeth whitening safe?
Yes, our whitening gel formulation is an organic plant and mineral based product with built in enamel building qualities. Scientific research has shown that the active ingredients are safe and effective. Our whitening equipment is FDA approved and has been used throughout the dental Our gel does not change or damage the structure of the teeth; it merely lifts and removes the stains, making your teeth whiter.
How long does the treatment take?
Treatment times are 20 to 60 minutes depending on the discoloration of your teeth and how white you want them. It takes no longer than the time it would for you to have a haircut or a facial – it is that simple!
Does it hurt?
No, because our signature laser whitening gel is all natural the treatment does not hurt, and most clients experience no sensitivity. A very small percentage of clients may feel some tooth sensitivity, especially if they are dehydrated or consume very cold/hot foods or drinks within two hours after the whitening session. Any sensitivity is short term and gone within 24-48 hours.
Will it work on crowns and fillings?
Yes, our teeth whitening will remove staining from existing dental work and take it back to the original color. Our goal is to clean up the existing dental work and whiten the natural teeth to match for a nice even smile. We cannot whiten them beyond the original color of the material used at the time of placement. If your existing dental work is not in your smile line it won’t matter either way because it is not visible.

Is cosmetic teeth whitening safe?
Since its introduction, millions of clients have undergone some form of teeth whitening. Numerous studies show that peroxide based teeth whitening systems do not harm the enamel any more than acidic drinks like juices or soft drinks or aggressive brushing.
Most people will experience little or no sensitivity during treatment.
Is it safe and effective? Will everyone's teeth whiten?
Almost all teeth natural teeth will whiten. However, teeth vary in terms of heredity, types of stains, etc., and results will vary.
Most people will see an improvement of two to five shades depending on the length of the treatment. For maximum results we recommend a full 15 minute treatment.
Can anyone have his or her teeth whitened?
Almost anyone can have their teeth whitened, provided you have healthy teeth and gums. You should not use the product if you are under 16 years of age or if you are pregnant or nursing. Canadian Smile Clinics staff are not dental professionals and do not diagnose or treat dental
health issues. If you have braces, loose teeth, loose fillings, cavities or gum disease we would recommend that you visit a dentist to resolve these issues before having a cosmetic teeth whitening treatment.
How long do the results lasts?
Results will typically last 6 to 12 months or more, depending on your lifestyle. If you drink coffee, tea, colas, red wine or smoke, you may need more frequent touch-ups. We also offer for sale a take-home whitening touch-up pen which can be used to keep your smile bright for longer.
